We are supporting the defense of human rights and projects for vulnerable communities!

Dear friends,

As the SHARE Foundation approaches our 45th anniversary in 2026, we renew our thanks to you for your incredible support. You have been an integral part of these four decades of accompaniment and solidarity with the peoples of El Salvador and Central America.

It has been a labor of love, bending the arc toward justice and transforming many lives.

Over this time, SHARE has worked with upwards 40 organizations, reaching over one thousand communities in El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala, supporting the struggle to defend human rights and the environment, and to create the beloved community.

We support the dream that a new world is possible, one based on justice and brotherhood and sisterhood.

In the United States and El Salvador, we face policies that promote fear and exact a high toll of suffering and the loss of life for hundreds of innocent people. Fundamental rights, including due process and our rights as citizens, are under attack.

The threat of mass deportations looms over migrants who have risked their lives fleeing persecution and who today return with great uncertainty, no alternative employment opportunities, and in many cases, psychological trauma.

The SHARE Foundation is accompanying deported families through a network of local organizations and in coordination with local churches in El Salvador and Honduras.

With your support, SHARE has supported the displaced communities during the war, during natural disasters, and we will walk with them in this moment of pain and uncertainty.

At the same time, we will continue to support our partners, promoting

  • Cancer prevention campaign for women in rural settings
  • Youth scholarships and leadership development.
  • Food security through the Seeds of Hope / Vamos a la Milpa food production, and planting fruit trees
  • Leadership training, education, and skills development for women advancing women’s rights and education.
  • Clean water and healthy environments, and communities.
  • Independent living with the Disability Rights Community.
  • Advocacy & legal defense, and human and civil rights education.
  • People to people sister relations with churches, cities, and communities.
  • And much more through partnering with sister organizations

Over the last four decades, we have organized 10,187 delegates who have traveled to El Salvador and Honduras, and have invited hundreds of community representatives to visit cities in the US; we plant seeds of solidarity.

With your support, SHARE has supported displaced communities during and after the war and in the aftermath of natural disasters. We continue to walk with them in this time of pain and uncertainty.

From all of us at SHARE-board, advisory, volunteers, and staff- we say GRACIAS, Thank you for your love and solidarity.
